What to Expect at a Glass Art Class

Whether this is your first art class or you’ve worked creatively before, our glass art classes are designed to be welcoming, hands-on, and fun. Here’s what you can expect when you attend a class at Ergamoca Art Studio.

A Beginner-Friendly Experience

All classes are beginner friendly, and instruction is provided step by step throughout the session. Classes are intentionally kept small so each participant receives personal instruction and support.

What You’ll Create

Depending on the class you choose, you’ll create one or more finished glass art pieces using techniques such as:

  • Designing your layout and composition

  • Working with glass elements and decorative accents

  • Sealing and finishing your piece with high-grade resin epoxy

All classes result in fully finished, framed artwork that will be available for pickup/delivery in 24 hours.

You may want to consider bringing personal items to include in your artwork. These items may include your sand and shells from beach trips, your pets’ photograph or fur or ashes, your own costume jewelry.

Check with Jenny beforehand if you have questions about which items may work in your piece.

Studio Environment

Ergamoca Art Studio is a relaxed, creative space designed for learning and exploration. Expect:

  • A friendly, supportive atmosphere

  • Music playing softly in the background

  • Encouragement to experiment and make the piece your own

  • Light snacks and water bottles are provided. Feel free to bring any other refreshments you may need during your class.

  • Avoiding loose sleeves or dangling jewelry

  • Consider wearing “play clothes” in case of an epoxy drip.

  • You will need a hair tie to hold hair back while you are pouring your epoxy.

Ergamoca Art Studio is just minutes from Big Door Vineyards and close to Savoy Automobile Museum, Tellus Science Museum, and Booth Western Art Museum.

Make it a girls’ day -create your own artwork, then explore a vineyard or restaurant nearby.

Coming from out of town? Even better. Reserve your class and turn it into a day worth the drive.

Theme Samples

Every class is designed to be more than just a project — it’s a creative experience. Whether you come alone, with a friend, or as part of a small group, you’ll end with a finished piece and a deeper appreciation for working with glass.   We look forward to creating with you. - Jenny
